As we approch the new year we look back at the journey Sydney has been on with her health. And how God is helping us to be the best parents and advocates for her. God has been so amaizng to our familly this year. He always is but this year we have really seeen him in our home. We have been blessed with friends that have helped us in Reno with Sydney. And have helped me with support. And we have been blessed now here in Oregon. With good doctors and good friends. We know that so many people are praying for Sydney everyday. That's truely the greatest gift of all. But God took it a step further and blessed us with the funds to help our dauhter with meication we could not afford, doctor visits and a new treatment. All the people who felt it part of them to donate to Sydney's casue is amazing. We are so touched by amaizng people who we know and people we do not even know that have helped us. So thank you everyone. We still are receiving donations for Sydeny's treatment. Thank you god bless.

Well, it has been a journey. With the help of everyone we are still able to take Sydney to the amazing doctor we found in Portland,OR. Unfortunately, this last week on vacation Sydney had to go to the ER due to signs of a UTI. We had her tested and she did not end up having a UTI. But we gave her Organic Cranberry Juice for a few days. That seemed to help with any infections creeping up. But the sugar in the juice made her gut flair up. In this pic you can see she is standing silly but that her tummy is sticking out. That is due to her gut being swollen. So now we have to do a little work to take that swelling down. So it's a little set back. Her eczema like rash is very bad due to the sugar and hot weather. So what happens now and how can you help? Well, we do not expect this fundraising for Sydney to go on for ever. Good news is my husband has finished school and has a great job now. We will get insurance in September through work! Here is the best news Sydney can see the doctor with this insurance. We will not need to pay out of pocket any more! This is great news! In the mean time Sydney has to go to the doctors at least 2 more times. Which is about $200 a visit.  If you feel it on your heart to help we would be so blessed. We are always in need of prayer and thats the best gift of all. Thank you so much from the Weseloh's.

Hello Everyone,

I always forget to post new post here, so forgive me. The post are
usually on our Facebook page. Since we have been about to raise some of the money for Sydney she has got so much done. We where able to get the SIbO testing done and get her the antibiotics she needed. The antibiotics are not just any old antibiotics you get. These are very special ones to help with the over growth of methane Sydney's body makes. And they are very $$ so the funding is a life saver. She is now on a (LDN) low-dose naltrexone. This LDN works by blocking opioid receptors, which in turn helps activate your body's immune system. Which means it is helping her gut and helping her go potty! She is in big girl panties now and going potty on the big girl potty. She will be able to got to school this coming year! Thank you everyone who has prayed and helped us financially to get Sydney here today! We still are asking for prayer for Sydney and donations. Thank you and god bless.

Day 2 of the new meds so far so good! Thank you everyone who has contributed to helping us get Sydney's medication and to dr apts. We are only 3,000 away from our goal! We are so blessed.

We have been on this journey with Sydney for 5 years. Yesterday we got some answers. Our doctor had us take the sibo test, which was negative. We did find out though that test that Sydney's body is making to much methane. That's why she has so many gut issues. And chronic constipation. Now that we know what do we do? We are going to give Sydney a very powerful antibiotic to help her. This medication is very expensive. For a adult dose its $1000 since Sydney is not an adult we will be able to save some money. We are hoping it will be $300-500. We will be paying for it because insurance will not pay. The medication are called Rifaximin and Metronidazol. Please keep praying for Sydney. Thank you everyone for helping us. We hope this will help her little body get better. If we don't attack this now there could be complication with auto immune diseases later. This link explains the medications.

We are still waiting for test results. But I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who donated this week! Just one step closer to our goal!

April 3rd, 2015

We are just so thankful for our first donation. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I am in tears that so many people have such kind hearts for our family. Today is my bday and this blessing is the best thing ever. We have paid for one test today!

Our daughter Sydney is 5 years old and has been suffering from Leaky Gut her whole life. "Leaky Gut Syndrome" is said to have symptoms including: bloating, gassiness, cramps, food sensitivities, aches, and pains. But it's something of a medical mystery still. This has been most painful for our daughter. She goes anywhere from 5-14 days without passing any stool. We can only imagine the long term effects this will have on her body. She does not look sick on the outside but the fact is her gut is truly sick. We have gone to many different doctors and G.I. specialists, yet none of the doctors have been able to understand the issue and come up with any solutions for her.  And Sydney is only getting worse. We have recently found a Naturopathic Physician that specializes in the G.I system. What we need to do as her parents is to get her tested for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. There are other tests we also need to get done. Since we are unable to use our insurance because the doctors seem to have no answers, we are paying for testing out of our pocket. We are determined to find out what is wrong with Sydney and we need your help to do this!  Sydney and myself are going to be moving to Portland before my husband to get testing done while he finishes his degree at the University of Nevada, Reno this May. We are asking for any help you can give us, along with prayers for safe travels and a healthy Sydney!  Thank you! *I just want to note that we have already done so many tests with the doctors such as: -Thyroid testing -Iron testing -Food Intolerance testing -Changed our whole way of eating for our baby (clean eating) -X-Rays on her gut -Stool samples -SIBO testing ( which we have to do again) -Various blood work -Chiropractic -Naturopathic Physician -G.I specialist
