Thank you all.

This video is one of my favorites...it’s from a tourist, and it shows the moment the earthquake struck Nepal. It shows you in real time what the devistation reallyl looks like (soemtimes, still images can’t convey the reality of it all)

I am in AWE! You guys are the BEST!

We’ve gotten SO many donations in the past 2 days that I think we’ll make our goal by the end of the week.

We have everything set up with different organizations here that are headed out and organizations already in Nepal that are working towards cleaning and rebuilding.

AMAZING!

The Patan Durbar Square is home to more than 1200 monuments, rich in tradition and culture.  A huge tourist attraction for many years and is now a place full of rubble due to the April 25th earthquake.  If you were there now, you would see huge piles of rubble, debris, and litter.  It now looks like a war zone, something you would see in a movie.

When I was younger, my father had taken me to this most amazing and beautiful place and told me all kinds of stories about the culture:  the stone, the art, the statues, the temples... All the old buildings, markets and rooftop cafes.  Now they don’t exist.

My goal is to help rebuild Durbar Square.  I know this is a huge project, but if we come together, we can make a huge difference and hopefully one day restore the beauty that was once there.  I believe we must do this because they have lost most of their heritage monuments.  I don’t want Nepal to lose their culture and identity, especially their tourist economy.  This would devastate them even further.

We are working with local organizations who are supporting this mission, and they need money to make this happen.  Please consider donating whatever amount you can.  Every dollar counts.

Thank you.
