Just got an update from my mom who is extremely excited about all the support you are giving to this group of women and their project. Their main concerns are for the loved ones and family members going through difficult times.  This will be an ongoing program because the family member will be able to take the quilt home with them, for a memory of their loved one.  It's truly a meaningful and fulfilling experience.  So, we would just like to say thank you to those that have donated and to future donors - we need you too!

My 70 year old mother has been knitting, sewing and quilting for as long as I can remember - she really loves making things for others.  She and a group of women are wanting to make about 15 quilts for a local hospice care facility.   The residential hospice care facility provides 24-hour care for those who are no longer able to be cared for in their own home, and in the final stages of their life.  The goal is to make them as comfortable as possible.

This cause is very close to my mother's heart because there was no residential hospice care available to her family when she lost a parent.  So she has dedicated part of her life and time to making sure others are cared for.  This campaign is to help them purchase all the materials and equipment they need to make these 15 quilts.  Thank you so much for supporting this incredible group of women who are helping other families.

All these photos are quilts they are working on now. Hope you like and please share to help them raise the money they need to do this very important project. Thank You!!
