Koda had his surgery on Friday and is doing amazing! Today he is eating and drinking water, and taking his meds. He already wants to run around, but we are trying to get him to rest. The vet will see him tomorrow for a check up - we wanted to say thank you so much for all your generosity and support of our Koda!

He's doing ok...surgery is scheduled for later this week.
Our precious dog Koda broke his leg because he was trying to climb the fence and fell. We didn't notice it right away until we saw him limping and whining. We rushed him to our vet and after they examined him and took x-rays, they confirmed that he did break his leg. They were able to sedate him so he didn't have any more pain. They told me he would need surgery to repair the leg by inserting pins. This is a very expensive procedure, but we love Koda so much and knew it couldn't be repaired on it's own.
The total cost is around $3000 and we don't have pet insurance! The vet clinic is willing to work with us in payments, but this is going to take some time to pay off.
