ALL the water has receded….and the junk is gone.

Now, we start tearing out the sheetrock and replacing insulation.

Did I tell you that this stinks...literally??

We should be able to have Grandma moved back in the house in just a few weeks.

We have successfully found Grandma temporary housing and are working on the clean up.

(which stinks...literally)

My 72 year old mother lives on the west side of Harris County in Houston, Texas and because of the massive flooding over the Memorial weekend, hundreds of homes flooded, including hers.

Almost everything was damaged in her home: furniture, pictures, electronics, clothing, etc. She did not have flood insurance either.  My father has passed away and my mother lives in this home alone.  She wants to repair the damages and stay in this home because she has so many positive memories, but I don't know yet if the damage is too extensive. We may need to relocate her.  She lives in this wonderful community and has many good relationships with the people there, so I would love to see her able to stay. 

I am doing this campaign to help her raise money so we can repair her home. If you know my mother, you know what an incredibly kind woman she is and know that she would help you if you needed it. Please help me raise money for her to rebuild. Thank you!
