I can't begin to express my appreciation for the love and support you have shown Aisha's family during this time. They are extremely grateful. You are helping them more than you know. Thank you so much. Her funeral service was this past weekend and it was beautiful, sad, and joyful at the same time. Thank you also for all the cards and gifts you brought the family. Those are precious treasures for them.
I am a friend of Aisha's family and we are devastated by the news of this precious baby's death. She lived her life with her single mother who so carefully took care of her and was the best parent to her.
While they were visiting friends last weekend, Aisha was playing with some other children and while they were playing in the back yard, she wandered off to explore and found the community pool. By the time they found her, it was too late. They called 911 immediately and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Needless to say the entire family is heartbroken over this event and so we are doing this for the unexpected and tragic loss of 2 year old Aisha ... taken from her mom at such an early age.
This fund will help cover the funeral costs for the family. We have been friends of this family for the past 8 years and can't begin to imagine the pain and suffering that this loss will bring. Thank you to all our friends for supporting this family during this terrible time.
