We're opening in 2 weeks!

The finishing touches are going up....the children are already playing on the playground equipment outside after church.

This is so wonderful. 

We are indeed blessed.

We have busy these past few months building walls, running plumbing and electricity and picking out wall colors and carpet colors!

We have surpassed our half way point and our hearts could not be fuller.

Thank you all for helping us to build this Childcare Center.

We have begun to accept applications for children. From ages 12 weeks and up to 6 years.

Our goal is to have spaces for 60 children.

(Just stop by the church to pick up an application for your child)

With over $50,000 raised so far, we are able to start "breaking ground" on the childcare center. With a 4-6 month project timeline...we have gone so far, yet have so far to go!

We've been busy with contractors on walls, floors, doors, and plumbing...working with blueprints and getting the layout properly. But, it's also time for the good stuff...to think about what type of play things we'll need in the childcare center. 

We get to pick out the things that will make the Childcare Center like home for our children.

Here are some of the things on our WISH list (that will be determined by how much money we raise)

The New Baptist Church in Columbia needs a Child Care Center.  Not only for Sundays during worship services...but, for our congregation as they have work and other obligations throughout the week.

We want to provide our community with a place they know their children will not only be safe, but will have the teachings of our church along with it.

The first step to this Child Care Center is refitting the back portion of the current fellowship hall.

Contractors have given us an estimate of $300,000 to get it retrofitted and able to hold 10 different class rooms and to make it handicap accessible, with bathrooms and kitchen areas.

We feel that our congregation needs this, as well as the local community.

Please give what you can. 

We'd love to start construction within two months time.
