We found a design example of what we want our complete indoor kennels to look like and thought we would share it with you. This fundraiser is going great. The animal shelter has already been able to make so many improvements - Thank you! Please keep sharing this and telling everyone about it.
Thanks to these donations received, we have started renovating the animal shelter.
First, we are making updates to the kennels. Instead of the portable crates, we are ordering nicer housing to keep our cats in. These are the perfect size (similar to these)
Next on our list, is to make a nicer grassy outdoor area for the animals to run around in.
We are raising money for this great Animal Shelter! We receive new animals almost on a daily basis. Unfortunately, we do not have the proper facilities to keep the animals we get. Friends of ours got a small dog from us recently and were very happy with their choice. When they visited our building, they saw the extreme need for a remodel and they offered to help.
We will need at least $45,000 to complete the project. We are currently storing our animals in crates and need to build new homes for them individually to meet certain regulation requirements.
The work that needs to be done is:
Resurfacing floors and coating them with a durable and easily sanitized epoxy. Replacing damaged chain link fence panels and doors. Replacing all single panel glass doors with new insulated doors to provide better climate control. Repairs to walls and repaint entire indoor walls. And of course, new beds.
