While driving home from the holiday weekend, we saw an abandoned dog along the side of the road.  He had no collar or id on him and we decided to stop and help. We called all the local shelters and animal rescue, no one had reported him missing. We saw that he was in pain, could barely walk and looked like he was scared and hungry. We brought him home with us and on Tuesday morning took him to our local vet.  After the exam and leg X-ray, the vet told us that he had a leg sprain and was dehydrated and confirmed he hadn't eaten for days. He also had none of his shots. We don't know if he was abused or just abandoned.
