About 4 months ago, our father was diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma. It began under his throat metastasized to his lymph nodes and liver. At first we didn't know what to do. We were just trying to find anything that could possibly save our dad. The first few doctors gave him 3 months to live, and now by the glory of God, he has made it past that.

After Gary was diagnosed he knew he needed a lifestyle change so he completely changed his diet, began p90x3, uses an infrared sauna, vitamin c infusions, and NO SUGAR! He has gone to multiple doctors, and is continuously educating himself on what he needs to do.

He figured out shortly after his diagnosis that conventional chemo/radiation won't work. Since his cancer is in such a sensitive area on his body, it would completely diminish his way of life. He is currently looking into other forms of treatment, but unfortunately some of the treatments are not covered by insurance. They can reach up to $30,000.
