Saturday's April 25th 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal caused major damage throughout the area, including thousands of deaths. The avalanche began on Mt.Kumori, a few miles from Everest. Gathering strength, it headed toward base camp and the lower part of Everest. There were hundreds of Everest climbers stuck as they waited for a rescue chopper.   Unfortunately, many did not make it out alive and many more are missing.


This earthquake and and deadly avalanches buried many people and villages. Most of the seriously injured were taken by helicopter to the village of Pheriche for treatment, The others were taken to Kathmandu. Several of them having broken bones and treatable injuries.

After the earthquake, most of the base camp village was completely gone.  Tents torn and crushed.  Many people injured, most lost their lives.  This fundraiser is for all those affected by this earthquake.  Please take a moment to give and share with everyone you can.  We thank you for your generosity.
