When something happens to someone in our community, it's human nature to want to help.
This is one simple way to do just that.
Undoubtedly, you've passed by Ashley Deane and her beautiful children in the aisles of Raley's. You've sat in the row in front of them at the Riverside Theater. You've parked next to them at Kohl's, shared a glance on I-80 as you headed to work, watched a school performance together or been in the same drive-thru line with them.
She is our neighbor. And she needs our help.
Ashley lost her two young sons, Austin Anderson Deane aged 2 and Jacob Henry Deane aged 7, to a sudden, senseless and unimaginable tragedy.
Please join in this expression of support for the unthinkable road ahead for Ashley, who will be facing realities in the next days, weeks, months and years that no person can imagine. That no mother, father, sister or friend should imagine.
As we look for answers to the why, let us instead look for answers to the how. Namely, how can we help?
This page represents a symbolic solution, for any contribution large or small will help Ashley feel enshrouded in the love and support she needs right now to weather this catastrophic storm.
Please share this request far and wide. Because while Ashley is our Reno neighbor, she is also a neighbor in humanity; in motherhood; in life.
This is just one simple gesture, but it is a gesture offering very tangible assistance to our friend and neighbor, Ashley Deane.
