$100 Provides a Brand New Backpack complete with School Supplies to a low-income Elementary Student!!

WHY we are doing this:  "We currently have 60 kids receiving food on Fridays to help get them through the weekend.  If you could provide school supplies for these families, it would be greatly appreciated." - Principal of one local Elementary School

You can make a huge difference in a child's life!  Through working with WCSD, we identified two Elementary Schools with low-income children that are NOT being supported with this type of service!  Because 'Back-to-School' expenses are costly, you will alleviate that burden on these families.  By providing brand new materials, the students will not be singled out.  This will build the child's self-esteem & equip them for a positive start to a new school year!   We hope to remove these low-income youth from the potential Bullying & Isolation they experience, which is one step closer to keeping all our Kids Safe!

Our goal is to fill 160 Brand New Backpacks with school supplies and donate them to low-income students in Grades 1st-6th for the school year 2014-2015.    To view our school supply list:: click here.

Each Gift of $100 will pay for ONE completely full Backpack!  If you can provide for ONE or MORE backpacks, that would be awesome!  If you are able to give less, we will use those funds to purchase school supplies, so we will gladly accept a gift amount of your choice.   We will be raising funds and shopping during the months of June, July & early August.  We will deliver the Backpacks before the first day of school, so their Brand New Backpack will be waiting for them!
