Hi.
I just want to go to space camp.
Like where I sleep there space camp.
It costs $939 for the camp, and I need to fly there. (which sucks even more...because that's expensive)
Here are the details of the Space Academy Program:
Experience the ultimate adventure! Stand up to the test of simulated space missions, rocket launches and realistic astronaut simulators!
Space Academy for ages 12 - 14 is an exciting, five-night adventure that is both educational and exhilarating. The program incorporates real-world applications of science, technology, engineering and math education. Trainees prepare to become the new generation of lunar explorers, with hands-on activities that place them in the role of spacecraft designers/mission controllers and astronauts.
Trainees take a simulated walk on the moon in the 1/6th gravity chair and gain understanding of what it's like to work in a frictionless environment in the manned maneuvering unit. They build and launch a two-stage model rocket and gain teamwork and management skills at Area 51, the leadership reaction course. Trainees are equipped with modern spaceflight knowledge and as they prepare to be future space pioneers.
Exciting challenges await in the Space Station Mission Complex. Technically-challenging anomalies task trainees to use all their knowledge/teamwork and critical thinking skills to solve problems and save the mission! Many fascinating future career possibilities are introduced during the week.
Space Academy begins on Sunday afternoon and graduation is on Friday morning. Parents and family members are encouraged to attend the graduation ceremony.
