Brian Walden, who we all know as a friend, a fellow musician, a son, a brother and an uncle needs your help. He is in an intensive care burn ward for 2nd and 3rd degree burns from high voltage line electrocution. He is expected to be in the burn unit undergoing skin grafts for the next two months, followed by extensive rehabilitation. The UC Davis Regional Burn Center is an excellent facility, but it is far from home for Brian.
Brian is fierce in the face of adversity. He has his humor and positive spirit, which is shining through the bandages even now, but he will need more than this. He needs his friends and family to be there with him and to support him. Our goal is to have his family and friends near him everyday to help his recovery. Brian will need our help not just through the healing process, but with the many physical, mental, emotional and financial battles yet to come.
The medical bills for his treatment will be massive. There are the immediate costs of his recovery and rehabilitation and an uncertain future that is likely to require extensive medical care and support and assistance with the activities of daily living.
We humbly ask for your donations to help Brian with the immense expense of his medical treatment and to help his friends and family be there for him.
