Technology is more than just a sweet gadget in today’s society. Technology truly affects the way we live - it affects the way we work, play, communicate, and even the way we think. Technology also affects the way we learn, allowing for new and exciting opportunities for classroom instruction. As a teacher, I love incorporating technology into my classroom. It brings easy access to up-to-date information and unique facts across all content areas. Students are empowered to be creative and discover new connections in the vast wealth of information, literally accessible at the touch of a finger. Access to technology in the classroom prepares students for the digital future and allows teachers to provide guidance in web etiquette, online safety, and inspirational opportunities. Technology provides individualized instruction and gives immediate feedback with self-paced practice.  Most importantly, technology EXCITES students. It’s part of their personal lives, their future, and their success in education.  Technology in the classroom is a must. The challenge is... the students have limited access to one-on-one technology in the classroom. In order for students to grow, we need to provide the technological tools to assist that growth. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Ms. Doyle’s Technology Fund will be used to improve our technology access with these wonderful students.
