I wouldn't ask if there was any other way. But I have to put my pride & embarrassment aside so I can get on the road again. 

My car has been at the dealership for a few weeks needing the hose assembly replaced. The repair was originally quoted at just over $600 at first but thankfully after some research I found out that the repair I had JUST gotten done the week before (which cost $637) was partially covered under the service contract for the vehicle so they will be taking the money that was previously paid & applying it to the current repair. But that still leaves money to pay that I don't have. 

It's hard because we (Deja & I) have to take the bus to work while my car isn't drivable. Which means to get to work on time we have to leave our home about 3 hours before we need to be there. And that's still not a 100% guarantee that we will be on time. Things have happened on the bus where it was running 30 minutes to an hour late. It's frustrating because it's only about a 15-20 minute drive!!

My car being down is affecting my daughters' & my lives dramatically. By the time I usually get home from work in the evening it's almost 9pm & I get off of work at 6pm. I am missing valuable time with Micah & I am unable to attend any of her school events for the same reason. Plus I usually try to pick up Jay from work since she is without a car as well. That way she isn't taking the bus late at night & is able to get home from work early enough to study. She is a full time student at Grand Canyon University (Lopes Up!!). As I have previously stated this also means Deja has to take the bus to & from work and school. The car being down makes it very difficult to attend church services. 

I have been told that I need to get a 2nd job to earn extra money by some people. Well I do have a second job already...driving Lyft. But without my car working...I can't drive for Lyft.

I would really appreciate any financial help to get my car running again so I can continue taking care of my family.
