Bullying: I think it also important to add that Bee's school situation has become an unsafe one. She is being bullied by many of her classmates and harassed by a male schoolmate. We have corresponded and met with school staff to address this only to see no improvement. Bee is a bright, well-mannered child whose well-being is being threatened because she is being forced to endure this kind of situation on a daily basis. She is now under more stress than is fair for a child her age when she should be more focused on learning and growing. In a well-controlled classroom, the students wouldn't have time to do these things to each other. So as you can imagine, this makes me feel powerless. Therefore, beyond trying to perpetuate the cycle of achievement my poor, lower-class family started, I now feel worried about possibly not being able to place Bee in a more secure school environment...

Last year we failed to reach our fund raising goal. But this year we tried again anyway! She was again accepted into her perfect match school. So that means we have another shot at getting our precious gift where she truly belongs! Again, I implore the community to help us.
