Our little one was born on March 12th, 2015 and was born at 29 weeks.  He was born with amniotic band syndrome, around his legs, but with the good graces of the lord and the nurses at Christus Santa Rosa Children's Hospital, he was only left with scars.  He spent four months in the NICU and came home with a Gtube Mickey button.  Little Emilio aka Sonny had a scan on his head during his time in the NICU and there was a mass found which was followed up in August, and it turned out to be an arachnoid cyst.  The doctor said they usually go away on their own but our little fellas had grown and almost tripled in size by December.  At that time, his gtube was taken out (yay!) and surgery was planned for January, but we wanted to let him grow more and have the surgery planned for after his first birthday.  After careful consideration from the amazing neurosurgeons whom worked on our little fella, a date in May, (May 9th) was scheduled.  Surgery came and went and it was a success!  Now in the aftermath of the surgery, mom and I have had to miss work and have struggled a bit financially.  Our family is getting back On our feet but we're still short on bills and are in jeopardy of falling behind for the month of June.  Anything would help, so thank you for prayers and to Ryan Wolf of Fox News at Nine for reaching out to the community.
