Memorial Update for Aaron Hedlund
The family has made arrangements for Aaron's memorial services. Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at 1 pm at Fir Lane Memorial Park. The address is 924 East 176th Street Spanaway, WA 99387. In memory of Aaron Hedlund, the family is asking that you wear  any colors of the Huskies - Purple and Gold, or the Sea Hawks - Blue Green. If you have any sports motif with these colors, please feel free to wear them, as Aaron would feel honored, as would the family. If you don't have the sports motif, not to worry if you have any of the colors of his two favorite sports teams is wonderful memory. A small reception on premises will follow with some cookies, coffee and water for family and friends to visit with Aaron's family.

We are still accepting any donations towards Aaron's memorial and final expenses. If you wish to bring a card, and/or donations, there will be a basket at the services for collection. Thank you so much for your blessings and generosity.

Dear Family and Friends of Aaron Hedlund:

It is with sadness in my heart today that I tell you that our faithful son and brother has gone home to be with the Lord yesterday evening. We shall be glorified to know that he is with his Savior and he is Rejoicing with the Lord.

Please continue to keep the Hedlund family in your prayers. As the day progressed yesterday, it is not unusual to see the stress take a tole on this family. Clarence Hedlund, Aaron's Dad, passed out was taken to the ER and is now admitted at Swedish. We are awaiting information on how he is doing and will keep you posted, but please continue to pray for this family.

This family are great believers in the Lord and their faith is strong, but they can use significant help financially right now. They will have to lay their precious son to rest soon, and funds are needed to help with his memorial costs. If you can lay it upon your hearts to donate anything to their needs, it would really be appreciated. If you are not able to, this family understands, and your prayers are welcome too.

As we speak, I am developing a list with the family of food that is needed, as we do have some specials requests. I will be reaching out starting today for help. We could also use help with some care giving for Viola's 88 year old mother who is not able to leave the house much. With Viola having to travel to Swedish we could use some help with drivers to take her to/from Swedish, and also care giving. If you are able to help, please call me/text me - Jo Irwin 25-304-5413. Thank you and bless you all.

Please check back often for further updates.

P.S. This quilt was donated by the Life Center NW Organ Donation. The hand print is actually Aaron's hand print.

Dear Friends and Family of Aaron Hedlund:

My name is Jo Irwin, and I am a close, personal friend of Aaron Hedlund and his family.

The past 48 hours of been so surreal and deafening to our ears, blind to our eyes, and our hearts are breaking, literally. Our Christ brother, Aaron, has had an unsurvivable brain bleed that occurred without any warning on Sunday evening The family has decided to do organ donation after circulatory death. Not as much to donate, but this family needs closure, as his precious sister, Candi Duncan has mentioned.

Hearts are breaking, as Aaron was only 36 years of age. Everyone who knew Aaron, would know him as a faithful Christian brother who loved the Lord. He was a die-hard Husky fan, loved his dog, Coco, loved care giving for his 88 year old Grandma Maria, and mostly had great love for his family, who will miss him sorely. There is a great void in this family right now. But this family has great comfort that God has a plan, and one day soon, they will be reunited as family.

As Aaron primarily was care giver for his Grandma Marie, there was no other outside work, and therefore, no life insurance policies or savings to pay for his memorial. It would greatly be appreciated and mean so much to this family, if you can place it upon your hearts to donate anything to help out. If you are not able to donate at this time, the family understands, and asks you for your prayers.

As this week progresses, I will post on the families' immediate needs for food, etc. Please feel free to leave a message or a prayer, and check in from time to time on this beautiful family that has lost a wonderful son, loving brother and amazing friends.

Bless you all and thank you again.

Sincerely,

Jo Irwin

"Even though I walk through the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me..." Psalm 23:4
