Not until after the passing of my mother in 1998 did I take a genuine interest in cooking and realized that I am a third generation of cooks. My grandmother, mother, and aunts were all cooks as well as entrepreneurs in the "culinary of the south."
"Culinary of the South" means that they cooked for their families, neighbors and church families, which was a noble act for them as well as cooking being their vocation in life. Being hungry can stimulate the mind to think of ideas for recipes.
When I moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2008 to take care of my sister and her family I instantly became the cook. I wrote the cookbook at my own pace and became a secrete shopper at restaurant for my own reasons which were to find out which foods would make a good recipe. I hope that this book will be helpful with hints and recipes to give ideas about cooking and maintaining your kitchen and family.
Your support will help in publishing my cookbook and giving to a charity of my choice.
