There is so much devastation here.

We've been here for over a month...and still have children coming to the orphanage.

The building that once housed 150 children...has now over 400 children. We are doing everything possible to feed and clothe these children.

The orphanage itself is still in need of great repair...but, that is really secondary to the immediate needs of the children.

Thank you so much for helping these children. They do feel your love.

We can't say thank you enough for all of your support. There are so many displaced children, some better off than others. Our volunteers have been amazing, both from Nepal and the surrounding areas and the ones that have come here with us - working hard everyday so that these kids have food and protection. All the kids are extremely grateful for the attention, love and care. Please keep sharing this campaign so it can reach more supporters. Thanks again and we will see you soon.

We landed yesterday and have been WORKING our little hearts out.

As sad as this whole situation is...we are thankful to be able to come here and help out.

As we initially thought, the home will need to accommodate many more children...and with your donations, we are going to be able to make that happen.

Thank you all again.

LOVE all the support that we are getting from our friends and family.

Please know that we are hugging you ALL really tight!

Larry and I fly out tonight and we’ll be helping the children of Nepal tomorrow.

We do have access to these funds while in India...thank you for all that helped us make this dream a reality.

Continue to share!!!

Thanks again!

Ever since I first heard about the 7.8 magnitude earthquake and how devastating that was to Nepal, I felt compelled to do something.  My husband Larry and I are heading a team of volunteers from International Children's Network to offer love and encouragement to the victims of this horrible incident. We are leading a travel team of 20, leaving from Oregon and going to Nepal where we will camp at a local facility about 8 miles from Kathmandu.

All we can think about are the precious children, specifically the orphans who have become displaced and scared by this situation.  Our team will be helping to assess damages to the orphans homes and are able to help with any repairs they need.  This specific orphan home we are going to houses 150 children, who we are sure have been changed by this event.  This photo is of some of the children.

This seems like a very peaceful country, full of loving people and now their world has been turned upside down. They are in need of our help. Lack of food, shelter, drinking water.. there is much we can do to help them.

While we are there, we will be taking more photos of the work we are doing there.  By donating to our Move Your Mountain campaign, you will be helping us fulfill this mission in a huge way.  Together, we can make a major difference in each others lives, especially these children.  Thank you and please share!
