Many small businesses were damaged and destroyed when the riots in Baltimore grew to levels that could not be controlled by law enforcement. While efforts have been made by the city, state, and federal levels to provide help to the small businesses affected, they need help now.

Stores need repairing, merchandise needs restocking, and loss of revenue needs to be recouped.

That’s where we come in...Friends of Baltimore. We are a group of friends who have come together to help raise money that will go directly to the businesses that need it most.

From small grocery stores to local taverns...they need our help. Many do have insurance, but have to wait to go through all the red tape...and then, they will not get 100% back of what they lost. The communities need to be cleaned up now.

 Our children play on these streets and see these abandoned buildings everyday going to school. We as a community frequent these stores and have to venture out further to find the items that we could once get in the neighborhood.
