Wayne Community College Print Shop employee, Ron Lane, was fatally shot today, Monday April 13, 2015, while he was at work on campus.
Wayne County Sheriff's Office said, "This is not a random situation."
CNN reported: The victim, Ron Lane, was a longtime employee. He and other employees knew the man thought to be the shooter, authorities said.
"This is indeed a sad day for Wayne Community College and this close family and community," school President Kay Albertson said.
"Our hearts are heavy at the loss of an employee -- a valued employee -- and we will soon be reaching out to the family."

Stancil was a student and had a work-study position in the print shop, managed by Lane, an 18-year employee of the college. News station WNCN reports that Lane recently fired Stancil, according to a relative of Lane.
One online news outlet is reporting that Kenneth Stancil’s Facebook page, now deleted, had “WhiteKnight” as its alias and contained white supremacist material.qnotes has not been able to independently verify this information.
Police have not yet released a photo of Stancil and have said they are trying to locate a current photo. On Twitter, one user released what she said was a freshman yearbook photo of Stancil, along with an alleged current photograph.
