My name is Doug Krane and there's so much going on in our life right now that I thought this would be a good idea to set up this Move your Mountain account to ask for support for my family. When it rains, it pours.

In the span of the last three months, I have lost my full time job, due to company layoffs, my wife was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and we have a high school senior that just got accepted into a college that he's been wanting to go to. We are so thankful that he got a scholarship to attend college.

I have been smart with my personal financial planning and saving, so we do have money put aside, but because I am not bringing home a paycheck, we have been unable to pay our mortgage for the past 2 months, and as you can see we have two little ones at home to care for. 

I work in construction and am getting jobs here and there when I can until something more permanent comes up. I am doing this fund to help raise money mainly for help with the cancer treatments that are coming up and our biggest expense, which is our home.

I have never asked for help in my life, but my wife told me about this site and thought I should share our story with you and see what happens. If you would consider supporting our family during this time, I think we'll be good once we catch up.
