These boys were having the time of their lives at the first session of camp - We have so many pictures and they are all so heartwarming.. I hope I will be able to put them all together in a flip book so you get to see them all! Thank you to all of you who helped these kids get to the camp. They had nothing to worry about once they were there - just to have fun!
You are all amazing people for helping us this much. We have raised enough so far to be able to send more than 60 kids to summer camp. Heart Camp has about 10 programs each season and we are incredibly grateful to all of you for helping make this a dream come true for these kids.

Heart moms...that's what we call ourselves. We are a group of moms who have a child with a heart condition.
Congenital heart disease, CHD, is the #1 birth defect in the world. Each year over 40,000 babies are born with congenital heart disease in the United States.
As the kids grow up, they face many challenges that healthy children will never have to face, and are physically unable to do many of the same activities. We are not about to let our children and others not have opportunities to live a full life.
Heart Camp is a wonderful place in California that has medical staff on-site and lets our heart kids JUST BE KIDS. It's a place where no one is staring at their scars, their oxygen, or feeding tubes.
As heart moms, we've banned together to make sure that all kids that want to attend camp get the opportunity. Our goal is to raise enough for 150 kids to attend camp and the extra we raise will be donated to the Heart Camp for their staff and supplies.
