update:

We're trying so hard to be brave...but, it's hard.

Justin is recovering from his initial surgery...and having some residual side effects and the doctors are worried that they may have to go back in.

He's currently sedated...and they expect us to be inpatient for a few weeks.

My heart is just breaking for Justin.

Please keep him in your prayers.

February 17th, 2015

update:

the MRI showed the doctors where the mass was and they have biopsied it.

It is cancer and surgery is being scheduled at Children's at LPCH.

After they remove the mass, the doctors will put in a shunt (that's a tube that helps the liquid drain from the brain into the belly.) Justin will ALWAYS have this shunt in his head.

Once the surgery is over, they will decide if any additional treatment is needed for the tumor (probably chemo)

UPDATE ON BABY JUSTIN:

We are going to be here in the NICU for an undetermined amount of time. Little Justin still isn't feeding well. The doctors have found a mass in his head and need to do further testing to find out what we're dealing with.
