Before my dad died, he told us that his wish was to have his ashes spread into the ocean.
Our family currently lives in Phoenix, so we will be taking a road trip to get to the California coast. This was his dream place. He always told us that if he could live anywhere, it would be in a small home right on the beach and the CA coast was his favorite place to visit.
When we were younger, he took us on a trip to the Oceanside area where we spent one week during the summer.
My sister Maria and I are raising money so we can travel to the ocean to spread Dad's ashes.
